Have had a crayfish since March, half size of my pinky now full grown, found lying on its side clinging to plant at bottom of small 35gal pond, seemingly with loss of thrust so at a loss what to do. Is it ich?
I do not know too much about crayfish, but I did not think they could get ich in like a fish does. But maybe posting a picture could help others determine what's up with it
Died, and so did another, so my thoughts are it's a the hot temperatures stirred something up.

What source of calcium is he getting?
Hot water could cause a drop in oxygen, something crayfish don't like
Not sure what happened, but thanks. I checked the pH and it's fine. One thing about Florida, however, is the water's really bad in summer due to toxins from storm water.
