Pretty cool setup. I am thinking about getting some other fish to go with my fh when I move him to 75 gallon.
Thank you. My KK is a gentle beast. Hes only interested in his gf. So it's nice to keep smaller fish that are always moving. It helps to bring the shyness out of stressed out or jumpy..

Setup a rack system. Should have added another 30 vs 3x 10s but that's ok. The next rack if 60s should scratch the itch!

Hey Fishenvy, Quick observation on that rack system you have set up.....Have you checked what the weight capacity is on those shelves? If you have I apologize for asking and being a worried parent...lol.... but I have seen shelves buckle from the weight of the tanks, and it is not a good scene. A 10 gallon tank full of water with no gravel or decorations weights in at about 88 pounds.

Shelves are rated for 350 lbs. These are 30s. A gallon weighs 7 pounds. 30x7=210.

I have a tolerance of 140 pounds leftover. I would go more than 40 gallons on this rack.

Good observation broski

Edit: I never take into consideration the weight of the tank. The tanks are about 25 lbs each.

30(gallons)x7+(tank)25+(fish)5=240

Whew! Made it!
