Seriously, that's not THAT bad. I know people who spend more than that on one fish. Blue eyed plecos? Asian arowana? Crazy people.

Ask some Aussies how much they spend on some species we get for next to nothing.

People in the usa also get fish cheaper than in Canada. Here a 8" aussie lungfish costs $700. In the usa you can get a 16" one for $500 us.

I spent $150ea on some 1" IR sharks
$800 on a 4" gigas
$700ea on 3" green aros
$200ea on silver aros
$300ea on 3" Alligator gars
$300ea on 2" RTC
and in the last month $1k on a pr of baby motoro rays

I don't want to even think about all the $$$ I spend on my hobby

I saw his collection once and to name a few he had some giant wide bars, azuls, indos, lungfish, 3 platinum endlis, a short body azul that was the only one ever seen, and even a platinum barrimundi that I believe he traded for 3 black diamond leopoldis, his collection was incredible
