Lets try this again. For some reason, the thread I started last night lost all of the pics. :screwy: I loaded all pics in one post last night so I am going to post them one tank at a time and see if that helps. I'll be done with when you see the 300 gallon, please hold any comments until then. :D

55 Gallon - Stocklist:
x1 Crenicichla Saxatilis sp. aff. 'Demerara' female at 9"
She is temporarily in this tank until the 300 gallon is ready for her. I will probably turn this tank into a dwarf pike setup when I move her. Still have yet to find Crenicichla Notothalmus and need to scratch that itch...

She is a little dark in this pic because she was just added to the tank the night prior.

This is her coloration in the 220 gallon. Very bright pike and one of my favorite fish.

125 Gallon - Stocklist:
x9 Geophagus sp. 'Tapajos' (juvies)
x4 Satanoperca Mapiritensis (juvies)
x1 Swordtail. (my sons old fish)

I will probably set up a 180 gallon in the garage this summer for the OH's and add x4 Biotodoma Wavrini in with the Satanoperca Mapiritensis in this tank.

This is a pothos plant I am groing in the tank and love it. Give it a year and lets see what it looks like. This plant has some personnal meanings to me so I take good care of it.

These guy are a little tattered, they just spawned for me. The male get a little rough when they do. I really have been looking quite hard to expand the group but it's not easy to find them. I can get Altifrons all day but Abalios are a little harder to find. :(

300 Gallon - Empty.

I am having a really hard time deciding between a school of just x10 Satanoperca Daemon or x6 Acarichthys Heckelii mixed with my two severums and pike. Thoughts?

That is a 40w UV sterilizer in front of the tank as well as the RO unit. I am still trying to work out how I am going to do a 24/7 RO drip system and reconstitute the water at the same time. I think I will have to run two different drip systems. 75% RO & 25% filtered tap? Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm all done loading pics guys, enjoy! ;)

you have no idea how hard it was to wait to post in this thread, everything looks great especially those orangeheads
any reason why you couldnt do both daemons and heckellii in the 300?

lol CJ, not everyone did.. ;)

Two different water perameters (one more extreme at least). The S. Daemon do best in very low PH & none existent hardness and LOTS of heat. I wanted to do an Atabapo tank with Heros 'Atabapo', S. Daemon and Uaru F. The Uaru are rediculas expensive so I have yet to take the plunge even though I see them every weekend. I used to keep a school of Acarichthys Heckelii and really, really, really miss them. :(

yeah :headbang2

Looking good!! I am glad you were able to save a good chunk of your fish. I'll miss your large map though. As for spreading the fish out, I would go:

125 - OH's
180 - daemons
220 - maps, sm rottie pair, wavrini
300 - larger sevs, uaru, pike, geos, heckelii

Aggression. The heckelii would stress the daemon most likely, and daemon do not do well with stress.
