You"'ll be happy with the satellite + lots of features for the price and you can dim it so your aro wont freak out
 
Cant say that. I have the plus and love them. I would guess the pro has some more bells and whistles. Either way i dont think you will be unhappy
 
My fish hat the whole blue light thing for some reason the pearsei goes nuts.

But its very customizable. Imontje whole storm/lightning is corny and scares the crap out of the fish but other than that its a great product
 
i only want the LED to save electricity, laminate the tank but not too bright to will harm my aro's eyes.. but able to brighten up if needed ( dimmable)... Most importantly i need the light to show off my fishes colors like the "coralife's Colormax"...red hue on the lights...
 
You could add red to it and keep it dimmed. There are 4 pre set buttons that you can customize and save to your needs.

Mine all 48" ers have had issue just past the 1 year warranty period. One has had half the red leds go out, another has stopped responding to the remote(yes i replaced the batteries). They also do not produce enough PAR for plant growth.

I would consider what you really want, the different modes are just about useless.

I would look for something that just has the ability to dim or, a night setting.

For what they cost i dont feel like i have gotten my moneys worth and when the 3rd one fails i wont be going back with Current Brand.
