I have a 6000gal pool for the pima when he gets bigger. It's 18' across, 3 ply vinyl. I have to figure out how to heat it. Lots of insulation, a cover and probably a nat gas pool heater.

I have a 2'x4' pallet box with 100lb of ceramic bio material in nylon laundry bags, 4 boxes of bio balls (They are a pain,they float all over the filter and are always in the way of maintenance). A plastic milk carton with thick filter cloth in it. The overflow has 2-2" flex lines and a 1/3 hp pump. Then I have a sterilizer with 3-3' lights. I think it's about 100 watts. I have 2 tungten 800 watt heaters with a programmable heater control.
