somewhere over here
does arowans need alot of current
or no current is fine
i have a 300gal with two powerheads on each side of my tank
then i realized that with just one of the pumps(koralia 5) runing, i would be just fine, i think?
with the other pump off i still have complete water agitation throughout the whole tank
i just keept it running because thats how i had it ever since the begining and just never turned it off
what do youse guys think?

no current, or a lil current is ok.. really depends.. i got this 3000 liter per hour pump yday for my 120 gallon with 3 Silver Aros.. guess they didnt like the strong current.. i've jus changed it back to the old pump.. and they seem fine.. i'm sure other mfkers would say otherwise...

they need more current if you have a comunity of them is my understanding, because it keeps them busy

x2

i always keep power heads with my arowana's, they like to play with the bubbles :)

Current strength is a matter of perception. Small arowana can be easily overcome, while large arowana couldn't care less.
