Hahaha...classic you guys. They are a lot harder to catch then I orgininally thouhgt they would be. I generally want to just take pictures of them and show proof that I caught them. The challenge of catching them is enough for me. Its pretty easy gettin close to them, I normally can get close enough to touch them, its actually gettin a GRIP on them and holding them. I mean they are STRONG for their size!! Kinda 'slippery' too...those plates makes it hard to grab. Would be kewl to keep one though, but I'm sure it would tear up the yard/house. I really want a pet skunk though!! :D

You just need to keep trying,. If not pretend to be am armadillo and gain their trust and then betray them and take their leader. Haaaaa haaaaa/:headbang2:headbang2:headbang2
 
lol, they are quick. I've had a couple go rounds with armadillos trying to catch them...they freaking hop like crazy armored ninjas...and hop fast as crap to...one time we finally caught up with one and it frantically tried to bury into the ground and another time I looked up after we chased one into a culvert and was getting yelled at by a game warden "leave that poor animal alone" it was classic. You can buy certain types of armadillo's online I don't remember if its 3 banded or 9 banded but one of those is fairly available. I think it would be a rad pet. Best of luck Peanut :)

It would be a rad pet. I got yelled at by the game warden for trying to catch a big *** snapping turtle.
 
what will you do with it? take some trophy pics and send it off? make an amadelee helmet? build a pen in you basement?

Just go and use one of those contraptions that shoot out huge nets, like a net gun. I dont know if you have seen mythbusters but Jamie uses one when he attempts to capture pigeons. Although i have no idea where you could obtain such an item. But GL!!!!!!
 
I bet the kicking thing would work. I was deer hunting one time and one just wouldn't quit making noise. I sat there for like 3 hours listening to it. After seeing no deer, and him pissing me off, I shot it with a ruger 44 mag carbine. The 44 cal ricocheted off of his plate and he curled up. He had a mark on his plate, but got up and started doing it again after about 10 minutes. He earned my respect, so I didn't put one in his head.
