I know each fish is different but I recently redid my planted tank which lead to having extra amazon swords, onion plant, anubias, and green tiger lotus so I put them in with my sevs, silver dollars, and melanurus without incident. The do devour duck week, moss and bunch type plants.

I've tried most of the above mentioned plants before and the plants last about a week then they are done for. I try to find the most realistic fake plants I can but they are not easy finds around here
