i love the aquascaping in the 135! what are you puting in it? and what are the dimension?
it looks sick!!

Thanks! Is is an 8'x18"x18". I chose to go with shorter and narrower to be able to manage the end-to-end current for the clown loaches. Between the two filstars and 7 power heads, I am pushing around 3000 gph.

The inhabitants are 12 Boesmani Rainbows, 14 Clown loaches and one totally rad Pleco L-168.

Sorry for leaving these details out earlier. I was really thirsty yesterday and might have found a few beers.

Anyhow, Cheers everyone and thanks again!:headbang2

Very sweet setup.

Btw, are those Sam Adams Pale Ales I see there? If so, good call sir.

Indeed they are. Nice catch! I used to go from different brands every few months or so. Now, I just go from one Sam Adams brew to the next. Having spent 5 years in germany and doing my best to drink the country dry, I only prefer darker, more hoppy brews. I am a bit of a beer snob.:D

Hey guys and girls,
I am so sorry for taking this long to repy to my own thread:(
I finally have some updates for you all. The sump is running, albeit weakly (I have three blowouts on the seams of the plexi). I wish I would have used glass instead as it adheres better with silicon. Anyhow, on to the pics...

You can see my "river manifold" with the intake sponges on the left and power heads to the right. My rena's are pulling from the same spot and dumping into the white pvc returns (tacky I know). My sump is quite broken and not doing the job properly but I have my three heaters, C02 injection, cc, and uv sterlizer in there so I had to rig something up. You'll notice I am using one of my "quiet ones" pumps to throw water back onto the drip plate. Yeah, I suck. But this is my first major tank and I have a whole notebook of lessons learned for the next time I set up. Due to being military and moving in 8 months, this will happen soon and hopefully you all will see a better product;) At least the fish are happy. And that is all that matters right? (my wife would disagree).;)

Oh yeah, for you plant gurus out there. I know my aquascaping isn't exactly up to par. In my defense, I just hooked up the C02 injection and am trying to get the plants healthy before I try to "position them". The good news is that my 14" pleco doesn't bother them! He is an awesome gentle little giant. But he sure keeps the tank clean.... that is, except for the EPIC craps he takes. =)

that is a beastly setup u got there!

Thank you! I have tried my best to get this thing running. I figured, what the hell, too many filters isn't going to hurt a thing. I am now dreaming about an 8x3x3 though. :D

That truly is one beautiful setup!!! Keep up the good work.
