Sorry bro, too rich for my blood. Unless you can come down or work out a trade or something (saw your craigslist post as well).

Good luck on the sale.

Yeah I agree, the (crack-no pumps-small sump-no stand) were the killer for me. It could be a great set-up but the repairs needed and all the additional hardware will make this an expensive re-build. GoodLuck on the sell....

didn't he just give you that tank for free?

That tank is AWESOME!!! Love the dimensions, everything bout it is awesome!! The crack is on the edge of the bottom panel, so its not like there is any water pressure directly on it. Either way, totally awesome! Best of luck to you!

yes he did but its still a great tank and worth something, if nobody wants to buy or trade it at my asking price then oh well i will keep it for myself:naughty: im fairly skilled myself and could build a stand and repair this tank:naughty:

Just what I was thinking REC. My rule of thumb for tanks is a dollar per gallon is a good deal. More of course with added equipment, stand, top, etc.

I have three complete setups (tank, stand, canopy, filters, heater, substrate, etc.) 29 gallon with sump, 60 gallon with fluval 404 and ac500, and 100 long (72X18X18) with 2x rena xp3's and ac500 that I could part with if you want to trade for something smaller.

I'd recommend repairing the tank & building a stand then. These things are much harder to sell when there's a crack & nothing to put it on.:)

I'd say thats probably the route your going to end up taking. To me a tank that started to crack is a problem and thats why booger gave it up for free. If the stand for it isn't perfect the crack will get worse. Where the side meets the bottom piece is where the crack is so there is quite a bit of pressure there especially with 2400 pounds of water. Either way whoever takes on this endeavor is going to be out quite a bit of money to get this thing up and running safely again.
