Cutteri's do look pretty close to the picture but they have alot of subtle colors that the pictures just don't show. And they also have severely different breeding coloration, almost black and white. I love my cut's and I would go with them over the hrp's myself. But they are every bit as aggressive as Cons in my experience.

i dont plan on breading so i hope they look close to the picture, so 1 FM 1 cutteri and 2 jewels will be fine without to much fighting, i dont like messed up fins

Cutteri are lesser aggressive than HRPs. However, I do believe that if you truly want a HD, go small in size. That way he will know his placement in the pecking order.

Cutteri are pretty cool though!

I actually have a 40L with Cutteri and HRP. Plan on getting more Cutteri very soon as they are way more colorful. HRP IMO lose their nice color the bigger they get. Cutteri always gets more attention when ppl are in my fish room. I'd have to go wit lil cutty

Go for Cutteri mate... Much better looking than HRP's

I don't have any HRPs, but I have some Cutteris. I love the dark-light-dark-light-dark barring on Cutteris, it looks unique. Here are some pics of the female with here old mate, he is no longer among the living (killed by a Neet).

ohh so they dont get very yellow, i do still like them better then the HRP, do they need alot of caves like the FM

Sometimes they get some yellow in them. I don't know if this comes with age or local population. Here is the same cutteri female with a wild caught male from Jeff Rapps, and you can see, he has much more yellow in him. But he is also much larger and more mature. The female and her old mate were purchased from a LFS.
