OK thanks Jlake I'll give it a try if too much hassle it seems just rinse and cut with scissors thanks I think i got it, just trying to keep healthy fish....

:irked:Everybody was making this too complicated! Just rinse them in a bowl and throw them in the tank. If you have small pups then rinse and cut each one up into a couple pieces and feed. No need to squeeze anything out of them!

i rinse/wipe the dirt off, then just cut and toss in. no need to squeeze it out. you can even throw them in as is if you know it's just plain dirt. i wipe simply to keep from getting more dirt in the tank than needed (less buildup).

if you think, no one is squeezing the dirt out of the worms in the wild, for the rays.

I buy mine from the local bait shop in a kilo sack. When i get them home i put them through a riddle to get rid of the crap and put them back in the sack with new soil from a garden centre. I add some pieces of bread so they have something to feed on and when i feed them i just rinse, chop and feed. A kilo will last me upto 3 weeks if i keep them fed and moist. I feed the rays with these most days along with their other foods.
