I have one that is supposed to be wild caught in mexico. Here is a pic or two. I started this thread because the cyanos I see that are caught first hand by the people keeping them have small round spots and no worming of spots.

1st off your TX is Looking good! Unless you caught him yourself, or your dealer has some form of verifacation of the fish's collection (pic's or it didnt happen lol) there is no way to be 100% sure but he deff looks like a cyno, from all the WC ones I have collected/caught there are slight diffrences from fish to fish but nothing really distinct. As far as I know there is no way to tell which south TX/Mexico lake/river system the fish came from. Which btw that time of year is comeing up soon and if everything falls into place I might have a good ammount of F0 fry for MFK'ers to have dibbs on for shipping cost soon :headbang2

Thats why I put "supposed to be wild caught" i know its hard to verify. I might be interested in more if this guy wasn't such a handful picking on my red terror.

Yea I thought about selling some fry off slowly this year and keeping the best looking male. See how he works out with a Barred midas/Trimac/SRT/dithers

i've had the "san antonio river" variant a few times, a small spotted greenish yellow coloration....
