Cyanoguttatus, Carpintis or Escondido?

those fish the OP posted do not look anything like cyano's. cyano's have small silvery spots and carpintis have blue/green BLOTCHY markings. its actually pretty easy to tell them apart unless theyre hybrids. pics from the web:

i agree 100%. i've kept both carpintis and cyan's and they look different in person.
 
I have wild caught true cyano I netted here in Texas, thats not Cyano, They are either Carpintas, on Carp/Cyano cross. Like someone else said, in the hobby it is hard to get a pure strain of either one these days.
