well x<.25 is technically an inequality with an infinite number of solution and x=0 is a solution for that inequality but ur right that less than .25 is not zero it is any number less than .25 until negative infinitySpiritofthesoul;5034645; said:

I have been adding bottled ammonia from the hardware store. Reading this morning is 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 40 ppm nitrate. It is a 120 gal and I know that I didn't have enough of a bioload in it to start the cycle. So adding ammonia plus fish flakes = success.
Btw the water clouded up last night and it is already clear again. I am 99% sure I have a super strong bacteria colony already in my tank.
I am about to add one of my Koi to this tank just to test how it does. rated a 3-5-4-4-4. (out of 5's) as a grow out since the cold stunted his growth/: Wish me luck!
