Cycling a 2400 Gallon Pond / Tank???

Hey folks.. i'm in a real tight spot here.. this is the link to my arowana pond / tank build..

The build is almost complete.. The problem i have here is one of the 120G that are currently housing 3 aros is getting a little cramped.. my issue is cycling.. yes it has to taken its own natural time.. but is there any way to jump start.. max a week.. i'm asking too much but if its possible please let me know..

uhh.. you mean thats the outcome if i try to jump start or i should dump a dead fish and let it rot and stuff so i start a cycle?

Dump dead fish in a and let it rot. The ammonia from the fish will start the cycle.

Now thats goin to be tough.. but in what amount? i cant expect a dozen rings or bio balls and a sponge from an established filter to make it happen??? what about old tank water say from my existing tanks..

Bacteria lives on surfaces, not in the water. At least not the bacteria you want. So the water will be next to useless. Dead fish is your best bet.

as long as it doesn't become a sewer and i have to wear a gas mask to go near the tank.. effectively constant testing of the water can only reveal if the cycle is established and water params are right..

agreed.. i mean dirty tank water or water from cleanin sponges etc from filters???

fast the fish for a few days before adding to the pond, and use media from your tanks the fish are currently in to seed the pond filter
