LFS owner. I don't wanna go back there since they sold me a EHIEM 75 watt heater that's stuck at 26 degrees. Won't go back nor go down. Told them that it's broken but explained to me that it's EHIEM. It shouldn't be broken.
Wow, the LFS is nuts.:screwy: Did you have them test it?

Also got them an expired AP GH & KH test kit. It was expired according to a customer service rep when I gave them the lot number. It was expired 2 years ago.
Now, that's nuttier. Try eBay?

Told me Bactopur would cure White Spot Disease. I emailed Sera and found out that I need is Costapur not Bactopur. (Later found out it was Velvet)
Baktopur does not cure ich. The active ingredients in it battle bacteria, not the protozoans. Check the package first before confirming their word. For ich, table salt is the cheapest alternative.

Never really thought of ordering just an ammonia test kit to any PALHS affliates. Maybe on pay day.;)
Good plan. When is the payday? Do you have LBC there? Use it. Priority shipping is 230 pesos only.

I am going to get some of his fish. What fish on the list that would be best to be moved?
Move the tetras to an established tank. These and the otos are very sensitive to ammonia and nitrite. Water changes are done from time to time when ammonia and nitrite are detected at this phase.

Yeah. Passed the test if the light switches.

Can't. I need to send them a fax with my ID and government ID to get it reactivated.

I did! But I say a bottle of Methylene Blue that says it cures Ich. Baktopur says it has methylene blue. That's why I have my friend buy it. The bottle of Methylene Blue says that it's distributed by "BioResearch".

Salt with tetra and cories? Aren't they scaless and salt is bad for them?

Next week thursday!:nilly:

Got it. Better get a test kit then. Hopefully adding Nitrivec would at least ease the ammonia and nitrite. Thanks!

Hello!

Just wanted to update you guys. We've finally got an API NH3/NH4+ Test kit and the readings we got are 0.25-0.5 ppm.

So we did a 50% water change and reduced feeding. Will update you again next week for the reading.

By the way, one oto died of starvation :(

Hi, just wanted to update you guys that the tank is now stable. :) nitrates are still at 20ppm. It's not even increasing or decreasing. Tap water still has nitrates.
