Cycling Help Plz !

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
BGK can be pretty finicky. I suggest staying on top of things. Testing water changes. Prime to lock up the ammonia and nitrite if you show any.

I would slow down their feeding for the first 3-5 days just in case.

Worst case scenario do alot of water changes and dose for the tank volume with prime until it finishes a mini cycle if it happens that way I think you should be alright.

i tesed and i got 5.0 ppm nitrate - 1.0 ppm phosphate and - 0 ppm ammonia
What test kit did you use? Why don't you have a nitrite test result?

your clown loach would appreciate some friends of their own kind, their natural quirky behaviours will come about, on their own they tend to be shy and take into account these fish will grow to about 16", and they too are sensitive to the water, it needs to be very clean and preferrably fast flowing. they should reach full size by about 10 yrs old. they should really be in a long tank as they like to swim in bursts and they swim fast.

you should be fine since you have used an established filter and also used the same old water. what you can do is make water changes a little quicker than you usually do to keep any spikes in ammonia or nitrates down. other than that you should be fine. i use the same method for all my tanks so far and havent lost a fish.

k thanks anyone..the thing is i cant but small loaches because my bichir already ate one and bigger loaches are more expensive but ill get more loaches sooner
