OK great!
1st off we need some bio-load...that's where the ammonia comes in...

You need to add 5 drops per 10 gallons
or
in the case of your 70gallon tank
35 drops...

Now until we are done cycling, do not add anything else except the amount of ammonia that will be listed here... OK?

Beneficial Bacteria thrives in temps above 80f so, raise your tank temperature to about 85f...we'll be sure to adjust it later...

All your filters should be up and running...

At about noon today we are going to take the first test for Ammonia
so just let it run and post the results of the test...

What test kit did you get?

im not sure what kind it is, i got it from wal-mart, it test nitrate, nitrite, ph, alkalinity, and hardness i believe

so start off with the 35 drops of ammonia, and just kinda of let it go?
YES 35 drops,
PER DAY,
EVERYDAY,
until you get a measurable amount of
NitrIte
Then you will drop the amount to 21 drops, PER DAY, EVERYDAY,
until you get a reading of
ZERO Ammonia
ZERO NitrIte
20-40 NitrAte....
When you get to this reading
Discontinue the Ammonia drops,
Do a 33% Waterchange,
Adjust the temperature to what you want to run,
Fill it up with fish...
