ive just got a pair i carnt fine any information on them but they eat peoples dead skin lol any info would be great .

Um they are not SA/CA cichlids. And isnt these fish are um minnows? Are you sure you got cichlid type? If so then you probably have normal tilapia.

no all ino is they only eat people dead skin and are from africa :S i dont think the a kind of tlapia

One problem: cyprinion marcostomus are not from Africa. Does you have minnow looking ones?

yup your doctor fish is just normal nile tilapia. Congrats you got the fake doctor fish known as Chin chin or kiss fish.

Looks like a Tilapia, I've read certain species of tilapia are sold as doctor fish..."Garra Rufa" is the real doctor fish.

oh ok cheers for that i have a tlapia they get big dont they ? will the live with pbass there fine with my 4" monoc !
