Hey guy,s if you ever in Cleveland Ohio a place called Jurassic Aquatics the owner is Fred his motto is just ask. I will get it ,some friend and said we want bichirs big ones 1 week later he said come in. I never saw so many bichirs in my life it is a big store to. he also sells saltwater fish , the size OF THE BICHIRS all started at 12 inches to 24 inches I think there are around 17 species of polypterus he had about 14 of them I have now 2- 18 inch p. congicus 2 P. Lapradei Guinea and 1 reg. Lapradei 15 inches 3.P. Endlichei 18 inches and there were 3 -26 in P. Oranatipinnis that he kept for his display tank which is 400 gal tank. the oher Ornatipinnis were about 14 inches . fantastic .
