Well, I got mine today & SHE looks great! I asked for a female & got 1...She's an awesome fish... She is still settling in her own 75 gallon tank for now. I will post a pic once she is presentable. Anyone else who has gotten them please share on this thread. Also, I have never tried to get a wild bass this big off of live- anyone with experience please advise.

Do you have pictures?

congrats, and the bigger the bass are the harder it is to get them off of live but your best bet would be to put them with your other bass that already eat pellets.

I also got one of these bass and it looks great. Needs to fatten up and settle in, but I see lots of potential already for a good looking fish. My qt tanks are down for the time being so I acclimated right into my 1000g display tank with the others and it seems to be doing well. Hasn't taken an interest in any of the shiners I threw in there, but it's still very early. Everyone in the tank is playing nice with the new guy/girl and it's even shown a bit of attitude towards some CA's in the tank. It needs to fill out quite a bit before I even think about getting it off of live though.

That's one thing I'm worries about is these guys are on live and the tank I planned in putting it in the other orino eats only pellets. I don't want to Introduce live to my other orino. I hope this new guy learns fast!
