da rubbermaid 300

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I thought about that, but it still has some problems. I could use the pump that is in the sump (becuase it can't run when I take out more than 10 gallons anyways), but I would then need 70'+ of 1" vinyl tubing. I haven't found that stuff for less than $1 a foot.

I will probably end up doing something like that, but I'll just stick to the buckets now I guess.

Is there a floor drain near by?

DO IT!!! It is still just as clean. I just have to figure out something for water changes. No sink downstairs and its over 75' to the kitchen sink. So... I am doing 10-15 (5 gallon) buckets every week. Its working fine for the water quality, but my back is getting tired.

Would a python (a long enough one of course) drain the water UP to the sink upstairs?
I have the same problem with all of the tanks and ponds in my basement NO SINK but I own a 75' python its great although I dont use it to vacum stuff in the basement just fill I use my 25' python dumping into a floor drain for the vacum... I couldnt deal with out it its a life saver to do a 50% water change on the 750 already takes 1.5 hours to refill it if I had to use buckets I woud be dead!!!!!!!!!!!!

friggin mad!!! how many gallons is it? u prolly said but i didnt read it!! any thoughts on what gonna go in it?
