Well that ends my hopes of mixing polys and CLs.. what was the size difference?

his first kill was a 2 inch CL when he was inches...
then he killed 2 2.5 inch CLs when he was 6 inches...
another endli at 5 inches killed a 2 inch CL.
one 3 inch CLs disappeared over night...

In the past, mine has eaten several exotic plecs including L14 and L18. They can digest lori's just fine

I wouldn't suggest it unless you've got 10" CL's. Loaches grow so much slower that you would just about need to start with full grown loaches and small endlis for it to work. I'm not sure about the growth rate of an endli because we don't get them here (!!!) but I know my ornate got to around 14" in a couple of years and is now big enough to start snacking on my loaches that are all 4-5+ years old.

What are your thoughts about housing a seng with CLs? I'd wait until the CLs were 3 or 4 inches long, at which point the seng might be pushing 8 inches.
