Sorry for your loss mate... I went away for a couple of days and found my male albino bichir which I'd been conditioning for breeding unconditionally not breathing under the sump The only way possible that he could of got out was through the overflow and into the sump which only the old fella in the sky could of known how he fitted through. I don't know what it's like in your parts but these kind of fish are hard to come by.

Lost an endi the same way, was sure the tank was air tight--- proved wrong. I feel your pain, best way is to move on and try again make mods on the tank lid and go from there.

ropes ant that hard to get, not common, but can be found...the bichirs other then sens are next to impossible
