Damn LFS!!!....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
One of the reasons I always keep an aquatic encyclopedia in my truck, because you never know when you may happen to stop by an lfs.

Well i went back to the LFS today after wiok and told the owner that i believe the Pike i bought is a Bellycrawler, but she still insist that it is a Strigati(or however you spell it),but the kicker was when she told me she guarentees that it will grow 8-10 inches!!!I informed her that "Venz" usually reach anywhere between 12-16 inches, she told me i was nuts!!:WHOA:

Damn LFS is right,it is the duty to provide FULL Taxonomic information.Let me tell you somthing, i LOVE going into them and inadvertenly making them look foolish just by getting into conversations with employees:D:D:D:D Or when they sell people a Managuense and they own a 10 Gallon with no plans on upgrading tanks>:o

I know people will say that these sales people are only making minimuim wage and what not,but it still just doesnt seem right,by the way anybody know how big these Belly Crawlers really get???:naughty:

Dovii,Peanut said he had a male that died at 10.5" so there's a good number. There very personable Pikes, any Pike is a good score in my book:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I got a Sveni that flares his gill covers from time to time at my Severum, his gill covers have to be 3 times the size of hi gill plates!!

Well at the present time my Pikes biggest enemy is my 4-line cat, they are both the same size(about 4-5 inches)the cat keeps trying to get in the cave but the Pike chases him across the tank, sometimes this goes on all nite!!(totally funny!!):screwy:
