I know you're proud of that fish...death sucks is it illegal to have p bass in Oz? or the laws are just so strict it is hard to get fish into the country? What causes "swim bladder infection or disease?" Is there some kind of treatment? I know when I went fishing, if a fish has the bloated swim bladder, we just use a syringe needle to let the air out of the bladder and release the fish, and it's fine. Is it the same thing?

Yeah they are hard to get hold of, which is making it hard for me to replace them...

I think it was a infection of the bladder because both of them are now dead, they had the same symptoms which was the loss of stability.

I don't know about the needle letting the air out though. What I was going to do was inject Baytril into the fish. But when I got home the 2nd one had already died....
