So I was feeding my datnoids some market shrimp (raw) and things went just as they usually do. When they finished I went to wash my hands and before doing so popped a zit on my lip (frickin hurt) and within seconds my lip started swelling up in a major way. Looks like I may be allergic to shellfish, it makes the most sense to me seeing as though I've never eaten shrimp, fish or any other types of seafood in my life. This blows.. the swelling is going away pretty fast now but I need to be super careful feeding now, just one more reason to get them all on massivore as soon as possible. :grinno:
 
Ouch, I'm extremely allergic to bug bites, so I swell up like crazy. Last year I got bit by a mosquito and my arm doubled in size at school. The office and everyone that saw it was freaking out, except for me and my dad, because we've seen it before. He was suppost to pick me up immediatly and take me to the hospital, but decided to wait an hour. The people who work at the office at my school thinks he so insensitive because he waited so long. Once he picked me up I didn't even go see a doctor, just took too much benadryl and passed out. Dad came home 4 hours later, woke me up, and took me back to school to go play in a baseball game. Needless to say I wasn't all there during the game. That was one crazy day :ROFL:
 
I was one goofy lookin dude for a little bit. Should this happen again I'll be sure to get some pics next time. I was freaking out because I 've never had an allergic reaction before, I thought my whole head was gonna swell up and pop :ROFL:
 
Was it like Will Smith swollen, or not so bad?
 
Lol it was all to one side, it started to swell up around the cheek area. I thought I was gonna become some sort of puffed up Two-Face abomination.

How old are you? I had shrimp allergies when I was younger (teenage years. I am now 31) and have grown out of them. I can eat seafood all day long now. If you like seafood, then there's still hope.
 
That must have been one large Zit! I am also alergic to mesquitos and pretty much anything that bites me Benadryl is always my friend. Allergies SUCK
