I've been stocking these guys at work for several months now. I find them no more aggressive than other dottybacks, which is a level I think your current tankmates could deal with at the dottybacks currentsize however there much much larger adult size should be taken into considertion.
I've had 12'' specimens come in lately.
I've noticed most of the posts here people are seeing "dottyback" and kinda lobbing the Dampiera in with the Strawberries and Neons and what not. red Dottybacks are not tiny little scrappy reedf fish. They are one of the largest dottybacks. A full grown Dampiera would eat just about anyother dottyback lol except maybe a green wolf eel (who is also a huge dottyback and not an eel)
So keep their large adult size in mind and the fact that he will grow faster than alot of your fish. I don't know how big your specimens are but I'm assuming not very in that small of a tank with that kind/# of stock.
I know everyone hates to hear it but if your specimens are anything but tiny your approaching being quite full already. Personally I wouldn't add anything and just enjoy the menagerie as is.
