I hope they pull through dude. There is nothing worse than having a ton of expensive fish and all of a sudden they are struggling to survive and you try to do everything in your power to help. Just keep that fresh water flowing. Pirahna are pretty tough fish
They pulled thru and ate tilapia tonight, with gusto! (after 5 days of no food)
To add to the nerve-wracking situation, I was gone over Memorial Day weekend...with a neighbor checking them daily and strict instructions not to feed but to call if they made a turn for the worse. But: It all went smoothly. On the downside, I will have to clean my glass from algae for the first time in three months. A sign that the biological balance is still a bit off, but fish & inverts are fine. Plants will get a dose of extra ferts to better outcompete algae for nutrients.

jp, thanks for the temp recommendation!!! I keep the tank at 74 F right now, but I will research plant demands and make sure to adjust accordingly.
