no where
ok last i did cleaning for my tank, i added a UG filter plate to one corner of the tank and to i just rearanged my room so now im sitting next to my tank, and im looking at the UG filter plate and see 2 small swordtail frys swimming with the older swordtail ( i think the first swordtail is over a month or so old ) and the 2 i found that are swimming by the UG plate has to be atleast a week or so old...

proud papa to 2 newly baby swordtails and 1 one month old swordtail ( i have a pair of adult swordtails one is wild and the other is a green swordtail ) and the the momma looks like shes about ready again to drop! no wait i think she IS dropping! shes a heck of alot skinny then she was earlier today!

Congrats! Pics would be nice.

rephrase that! 3 tiny ones and a medium one and 2 adults! the 3 tiny ones are less then half inch and the medium one is about half inch and the adults are 2.5 inches maybe 3 inches.

Whats your problem, judging by your name I guess a troll? The op was just excited he had swordtail fry, its very rewarding when you have bred a fish.

well if im still living at my grandmothers by the time my aunt moves out ill have 2 bedrooms upstaires to myself and if the frys survive the oscars wrath of fury ill be getting them a 20 long ( probally a 29 gallon ) jsut for them ( and some corys and shrimps ) but im going to see how they do with the oscars, i added a UG filter thingy ( not hooked up but just laying there ) so the frys can hide in there. im a big time swordtail addicted and always have been! just amazing how they are surviving from my oscars! heck i have small guppys i got for free that are still alive!

anyone know if temp affects oscars hunger?

ok cause my temp is in the mid 70s ( 74 or so cause i gotta get a heater * i have one but rather use a new heater * but my fish are also alart and active still. )
