2 of my tanks only have heaters... and my spiney eel/gar tank has no lid or light!

wow:screwy:
thats gonna be dead gar and eel

my ten has a lid made out of egg crate and sits beside my 46 bowfront which has a crooked stand and sits on carpet, all of which use ton of plugs ins...

I too am guilty of hanging power strips
also using reptile clamp lamps for tank lighting, they work pretty well actually

I have one power strip and it doesnt even hold all the plugs that I have (this goes for both my 150 fresh and 30 salt). My tank lids on my 150 both shattered during a move and I couldnt afford two new lids so I ducttapped the shatter pieces to keep them in place (fixing this issue soon though). I have no organization to the stuff crammed under my tanks and I have my new equipment randomly scattered around the apartment. I plan to organize this soon too. My cords are also running all over the place behind/under the tanks. One of my small tanks has no lid, the light is from the kitchen light (but they do get a good amount of light). My quarantine tank is currently a small "critter" tank thing with the lid that has the plastic lid opening o_o... but my QT fish are also small so I just do daily water changes (all my extra tanks are in storage at the parents 2 hours away so I can't get them as I please).

My boyfriend on the other hand has his set up all nice organized, neat, etc. So I am going to have him help me re-do mine... I can't stand the dis organization anymore!

I got a 10 gallon I set up yesterday, its on a really flimsy particle board computer desk that wobbles really bad with the slightest touch, a aquaclear 50 filter on it so the hood doest fit right and is on a downward slope back to front. accident waiting to happen, really gotta fix this tonight.

:grinno:I know this is so wrong. I live in a really old home. Electrical outlets aren't updated yet. They all lack the three-prong plug ins! All are universal two- prong. And only one outlet per room. I've got an adapter, to plug the three pronged multiple plug-in bar into the wall socket. A fifteen foot extension cord plugged in on the multiple bar. And at the end of the extension is another multiple bar. And I put a rug over extension cord so no one would trip on it.
