i have discovered what looks like small drops of clear jelly with lots of tiny white spots inside.

If they look like this, snails inbound. The clutch in the photo is one of many from common pond snails.

They're a bit tough to remove (have to scrape, rather than squeeze them to keep from damaging plant leaves), and feel very rubbery.

they look exactly like that. thanks. but they are not on a plant
