im gonna attempt to put either zebra danios or giant danios (depends on what i can find) in a tank with a silver arowana, pbass, oscar, bichir and a red eared slider. will it work? has anyone tried this before?
danios as dithers

They won't last long, mate. But why would you try putting some dithers when your stock are predatory?
I had a bunch of zebra danios and cherry barbs in with my last batch of baby silver aros but for some reason they all disappeared as the aros got bigger... I just cant figure out what happened to them..... hmmmmmm
Use good sized fatheads from a bait shop instead of Danios....you'll like the look and when they become a snack, your pocketbook won't be hit hard ..depending upon the size of your fish you can also mix in some silver dollars....arlo;627656; said:

you can do it the trick is have lots of tight low hiding spots and lots of replacement danios on hand I kept a breeding tank for danios and always kept my pred tank with a half dozen or more just add as nessary makes for a nice tank
