I just came across this article. I knew of Dan's Fish, but I didn't know the story being it. Sounds like a hobbyist who just built his dream.

He was mentioned here a few times as a reputable vendor. I personally never ordered from Dan's Fish.

Good guy, who knows what he's doing.
Haven't had any issues ordering from him before, neither have the members of the fish club I am in. I will say that his prices are a bit high- sometimes unreasonably so- but the quality and survival of the fish during transit is pretty much a guarantee when ordering from him.

I've done three orders with them, all were good, no issues with packaging and health of the fish. Agree with Fallen_Leaves16 , prices can be on the high side, it can depend on what you're looking for and where he gets them-- some are German imports, for example.
