Here be some many pictures of my 'mystery' pikes. Still haven't been able to come to a complete conclusion as to what they are. Pretty sure they are Crenicichla sp. 'xingu II' but they could also be Crenicichla strigata....so yeah. Have to wait a few more months, then they will reveal their true colors to me. Either way they are some PIMP fish!! BTW....some of them are showing their 'stress bars' which is the black lateral line....they are all the same fish though....
. There are three of them in there...they change their color and pattern dependin on their moods, just like any other cichlids. The sp. 'cobra's are totally different lookin though, so you shouldn't get them mixed up, cuz there are some where they are both in the picture.
