Dark coloring in Senegal?

Have you considered sand as your substrate? I find it is better on their bodies and when I fed pellets, sometimes they would get the larger gravel in their mouths. I also like the look of the sand

Yeah actually I was, it just that I'm on a lil' island way down in the Caribbean so black sand is fairly difficult to find...
