I would say male to yours and hurleys. For yours it's hard to say at that age but I have a breeding pair and it seems like the ones that are female dont have spots but a streaky beard. Darkness doesn't matter. That's genetic. My female is darker than my male but the fry vary. Doesn't seem dependent on sex, alyhough as stated when breeding females darken up. I always like the darker ones myself. Show more speckles.

I strongly feel it will be a male. As others have said females have more of a beard of blue, some almost full splashing. This does have a lot of blue but perfect spangles. Its a small male could be showing mating darkness but right now os too small.
