from what I have taken from threads on here is that darker Jars are usually in darker tanks (Dark Gravel, not much light) and Light colored Jars are usually in lighter tanks. Is this correct or am I missing something?

red jars are from red blackish water

mine is turning redish now

I've heard a little something about blackwater and certain Aro's liking it. I think they have the extract at my LFS but I havent looked into it yet though (any recommendations?). I have a baby jar smaller than yours and they look about the same except for that light pink, I like it. thanks.

ya black substrate will help even a black background i bought a 6 inch jar last week
he was a light golden color in a tank with a clear background and white sand now when he is in my tank with a black background he has really darkened up i have white gravel in my tank.
