Looking at those it's head looks more pointed than the first pics. Angles are everything lol. But that way isn't always accurate. Dorado are more solitary I think. Like gatf. Where as smaller atf, school a little though they can be solitary too I believe, I've read conflicting information about there wild behavior, but I saw a video of a huge school of them before on YouTube in the wild. If I were to keep one in a group of 3 I'd attempt it with vatf. But if it were up to me on which fish I'd keep, I'd keep one dorado over a group of atf. I like the more brutish look and how it's on patrol more than an atf.
Yea man, it really look brutal. But deep inside I prefer ATF mainly for the teeth and how they rocket towards the floating food and create splash.
Not sure how dorado eat tho due do lack of feeding video from youtube.
Perhaps in the future when I got my bigger tank for dorado then I'll get some ATF into my current tank.
