sick family MFK has... so helpful

When I scrape off the silicone, will the glass come apart? I take it I should redo the whole tank. It is about 32" tall, I'm not looking forward to trying to reach the bottom.

You will only be removing the silicone from the surface of the glass, not the silicone between the glass. The deeper tanks are a pain, I had a 110g(30" deep) that I had to reseal.

I got my 125 used and filled it in the back yard on some 2x4s and let it sit for a week. Next time you fill, you should fill it out side just to make sure and get a blade with a handle or squeeze some vice grips on the back of one. And please be aware that razor blades do break and when the do you want your fingers as far away as possible; I have a scar from one joint to another on my index finger from this very thing happening to me. I do not mean to discourage you in any way but just remember that safety comes first.
BTW, I love your pond, Its AWESOME!!!

if the tank popped a seam and is leaking the whole things going to be redone.

It would be an idea to do the lot just in case. If one went the others may be on the way out also and at least if you do them all you'll know it's good

There is no reason to take apart the tank. The silicone between the glass structurally holds the tank together and does not need to be redone to reseal the tank.

I think tipping the tank over on the gound so the 'top' of the tank is actually turned 90 degrees would be SO much easier to do the job on it. As long as there is correct bracing, I think it would work just fine. Saves you having to reach in like retrieving a dog poo or something.
