Darn Ornate

This is the problem with cb species, ive noticed this with my ornates and cb endlis, they just dont know how to stop when it comes to eating.

Ive pretty much have had the same issues with cb polys. My cb teugelsi will eat way too much and looks like it has a beer gut. Same issues with cb sen and a bit with a cb del. The 'full' mechanism just does not seem to operate right. My wc will eat and when they are done they stop.

today my ornate looks like it has a beer belly and is extra round. Guess I've been feeding too much. dang. Perhaps it also is CB and cannot stop eating. Will start feeding smaller portions. Can I skip feeding a few days in a row? I usually only feed every other day...but I think he had too much tilapia lol.

Yes a 2 day of not feeding will be fine.

awesome. I don't want him to be overweight and want him to look streamline again. I guess I've been feeding him too much. Might cut his portions in half. He's currently looking like a breakfast turkey sausage right now, but with a small head and a little more speckles.
