Is it possible to keep Darters and Goldfish together in a community tank?

Will their be aggression on the part of the Darters?

Can Darters reside with predatory fish or is it only compatible with peaceful fish?

Thanks in advance for all comment!

The darters might be food if the goldfish are big enough. If it's fancy goldfish are something they should be ok.

Darters are not aggressive.

You can't keep them with predatory fish that rip things apart or can swallow them because they'll become food.

Darters are pretty small, so keeping them with predators isn't the best idea. As for Goldfish...the darters might end up as food

Well my fancy goldfish are like 2 inches, I got the telescope and the bubble eyes.

Just out of curiousity, what is the average size of a Darter?

What do they eat?

Can all the different species of Darters live together? Or will they fight over territory?

Most average around 3-4 in., some of the larger species can get 6 in. or more.

What they eat depends on the species. Some of them will eat small live fish, some of them prefer things like snails, worms, and bugs, and some will eventually learn to accept pellets or flake.
