Fair enough michael, it shouldn't be difficult to change, netting out a portion at a time. I've done it when switching from gravel to sand.

BTW what don't you like about sand? Since I changed from gravel to sand I definitely prefer sand. I got natural aquarium sand, and I find it easier to clean. The crap just seems to sit on top so I can siphon it up easily, whereas with gravel it tends to get embedded.
