Just wanted to clarify that D. undecimradiatus is depicted in the diagram rayman posted as North Thailand Tiger (NTT), as thinbars are commonly known in Asia.

i dident make it...just posted ;)

Well my experience with thin bars is this... When I first got them they showed nice bright coloration and dark black stripes; I kept my water parameters goo. One day the stripes started to fade and their colors were just never the same again... I have 2 of these thin bars both are about 5" but since then their colors have not been the same. cant figure out what's wrong with these guys. I do water changes every week got good aeration temp is good at 79 - 80 degrees dont know what to do anymore. So if any1 knows whats going on with my fish please HELP...PufferXtreme I wish you the best with yours; but dont know if this is common with thin bars, but just wanted you to know in advance..

Thats why i dont have any thin bars. Because just like Vanimate said, they just spontainously die on you with no warning even with everything perfect.

I heard this is common with small thin bars right??? like my thin bars huh??? I thought they get better the bigger and older they get was; i wrong???
