his colors are little off too but he's pretty active and already ate 3 white tip tetra and a danio. i have 3 tiger barbs in with him now what other schooling fish can put with him?

I would remove the barbs.
Tiger barbs are fin nippers, and will probably try and mess with your dat.

Large silver dollars will work...
