Dat ID!

Is it because of the full stripe right at the base of the tale and/or both stripes on the caudal are pretty evenly sized?

I would say its an IT, based on the tail patterns. Although stripe patterns could vary, its the least likely to occur for the tail sections, hence the devision of ID based on tail markings.
Besides, ST of such sizes would be extremely rare to come across in the market since the past 2-3 years.

I got these January of 2008. I am still not 100% convinced either way. I am not selling them, I just want to know what the main differences are. I have 6 dats total with one coming in at 8" this year and 3 look different.

From what i can gather in Thailand, the only way it's an ST is if its Cambodian, but the edges of the stripes of Cambodian tigers are not well defined, as if they look like the edges oe a saw. True STs have not been seen in Thailand for over 5 years in the wild. They still haven't been bred in captivity. Even if it were a true ST it would have never made it out of Thailand.
