Dat not eating need your advice

Krichardson. Do you think the little guy would do better in a separate tank till he was bigger, or do you think that would make things worse?

Yes.That would be better than having him harassed half to death and stressed out.You might even consider getting rid of the American as the NTT is the valuable fish.If it is or was eating non live foods I would try to keep that up at all costs.Good pellets are best for the fastest growth.

Alright I'll put him in another tank. Odd as it is there getting along now there both swimming around together. But the NTT is still refusing to eat.

Let it settle down some.It probably will not eat as long as it is stressed.

Well i took the AT out and the NTT is still not eating. I've tried blood worms, krill, tilapia,floating pellets, sinking pellets. The only thing the NTT will eat is ghost shrimp. What else can i do? Its been a week and the NTT is still only about inch and a half, 2 inches. So he cant keep starving.

Well i just had an idea, and oddly enough it worked. I figured since the NTT has been the only dat in the tank for just over a week that it would become territorial, so i put the AT back into the tank. Well i was right the NTT put the AT In its place and for some reason that agression spurred the NTT to start eating!!!!

The little hogger just mowed 3 krill!!!! I know not alot but the little guys eating!!!
