you didnt happen to get that bit of mangrove off ebay did you? looks good :)

A mate bought it off ebay and it wouldn't fit in her tank. So I bought it from her at a much cheaper price :naughty:

How big is that Indo dat of yours? It looks huge.
It is only around 8 to 8½ inches. Not as big as it looks.

Out of interest whats your hardness/ph levels like in the Derby region?

I'll have to check the params. The Dat is in Dorking, Surrey at the GF's. Most of my other tanks are in Derby though.

Forgot to ask-what filter system you got in there and what are the other inhabitants? I've a virtuall identical size tank but with on ly a couple of bits of wood and no plants (have silver dollars) wondered if the plants make the Ido happier?

Filtration is with two Fluval 404's. Only other tank mates are the Odoe and an Adonis Plec (you can see him under the wood behind the Dat in the first pics). The Dat does some times darken up but in these pics he was just given a 100 live river shrimp to chase down and was also getting a bit grumpy with the odoe. Not sure if the plants help the colour as there has always been some cover since I had it.

This one has grown about an inch in the 2½ months I've had it. It is also considerably bulkier than when I got it. It does eat an insane amount of food though.

That DAT is beautiful and healthy and those are my two favorite colors on that fish... and the Odoe i never heard of and i have never seen before..they look neat!! I will have to brush up and learn about them..any info you can give will be appreciated..
